DAY IV: ARE YOU WEAK ENOUGH TO MAKE THIS JOURNEY, TAKE THE KIND WALK – Isaiah 58:9-14.

“I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” Lk. 5:32.
“…tear your heart and not your garments” Joel 2:13.
Kindness is a thing of the heart and not the hand. So are you weak enough to show a little act of kindness not out of compulsion but freely from the heart? The kind that is not out of your abundance but sacrificial – from your nothingness ( cf. Lk. 21:1-4; 1 Kn. 17:0-15).
Are you aware that your glory is locked/ tired up to your sincere acts of kindness? Abraham did in Gen. 18 which moved the hands of God in his favor: “At this same time next year I will surely return to you and Sarah by then will have a son” (v.9); “Can I conceal from Abraham what I am about to do?” (v.17).
If ia was true for Abraham it will also be true for you, while not spice up your journey as you carry your weakness along with a little kindness today remembering the words of Isaiah chapter 58:9-14.
Sing any song of your choice and prayer with St. Pio “Stay with me, Lord.” Read meditatively Jeremiah chapter 4.
SHEPHERD ME O LORD BEYOND MY STRENGTH.
