“To be a champion you must fight one more round, float like the butterfly and sting like a bee” – Mohammed Ali.
Yes, the silence can really be deafening, frustrating, excruciatingly painful and defeating. It’s not worth the kiss, just throw in the towel your heart and that menacing voice would tell you. Why should you still go on believing?
Listen, never you give up. Fight one more round, this might be your round to secure a technical knockout. Quitters are sore losers, hope you know that. Don’t you know that even in the seeming silence God is still working in your favour? Just hang on there. See the devil knows this too well and would stop at absolutely nothing in dissuading you from trusting God in this wonderful journey.
Just hear this out. Precisely 21 days now during a prayer session the spirit of a woman spoke from the body of her half younger sister whom she had possessed. all these years. Her half-sisters, five in number (though they were originally six, in collaboration with others killed one and their only brother) she said were programmed never to get married, have children, go to school, remain in the same house with their mother and get old, get frustrated and turn on their mother as the architect of their travails.
Reason: ENVY AND JEALOUSY. Their mother got married to her father after her own mother left the marriage; had a son and six beautiful and wonderful girls with bright and glorious futures, futures her own kids would never have. Meaning the girls will be celebrated likewise their mother.
So the girls were placed on strict monitoring both night and day, all their conversations even in their own home so that they could not achieve anything or seek any divine help. Any step taken toward alleviating their situations were blocked. Any relationship or any young man that ventured into the compound was made not to return again and to forget all about them – in short there must be no relationship. Weakened their trust in God and their prayer lives, were just church goers, making them too feel totally hopeless and helpless.
But there was a problem, one of the girls (the 2nd) was a loosed canon. Prays often and could get around them. Always want her siblings to pray and likes church too much even when we confused her alot and spoil all her efforts on getting deliverance done by making them all very weak. Was the only one who could break free but would always return because she could not leave her sisters alone. How she did it cannot say but broke the yoke to go to school and they are university graduates.
Was given madness twice after her service year in 2009 & 2010 respectively so that she cannot use her degree but it never worked. Her job opportunities were tired on a very tall and big tree – in fact no Job for her so that her frustration would be heightened.
Here is the interesting part. When asked to release the Job opportunities she just stretch her hands up and said here it for it was no longer at the top of the tree but almost down. How? Her persistent prayers. Anytime she is serious and goes back to her prayers it drops gradually from the very top downwards. So, she said it was already down and here it is. Praise God.
So friend when nothing seem working, when it seems God is too silent, HE isn’t but very busy untying that evil knots in your life. All God needs is your own effort and cooperation to activate your glory, which lies in your willingness to obey, humility to accept his assistance, total dependence and trust, with a patient and persistent heart.
“… Will not God do justice for his chosen ones who cry to him day and night even if he delays in answering them? I tell you, he will speedily do them justice” Lk. 18:7-8.
My most sweet and adorable Jesus, make me realize that cut off from you I can do nothing, I am lost. Help me to always keep my eyes focus on you with humility accepting each day as it comes, journeying with you in confidence. I know that you can never leave me alone until justice is done in my favor through your divine merciful love. So, stay with me, Lord Jesus. Amen.
Pray today too with the song “Amazing grace”; Ps. 23&27 and with St. Pio’s “Stay with me, Lord.” Study the 20th chapter of the book of the prophet Jeremiah.
