Read Jonah 3
“… Let everyone call aloud to God, turn from his evil ways and violence. Who knows? God may relent, and with compassion turn from his fierce anger and spare us” (3:8-9). And he did.
“Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom” (Lk. 23:42). “… if you only knew the gift of God, and if you knew who it is that is asking you for a drink, you yourself would have asked, and He would have given you living water” (Jn. 4:10).
“… one of the soldiers thrust a lance into his side and immediately there flowed out blood and water” (19:34).

Honestly, did you ask of him today as you went through the whole celebration of Good Friday? He is the greatest and best game changer, even at his agony and death he was changing the stories of so many. “Today, you will be with me in paradise” (Lk. 23:43); “Woman, here is your son… here is your mother” (Jn. 19:26-28). “Father forgive them….” (Lk. 23:34). The Centurion seeing how he died praised God, saying “truly, this man was the Son of God” (Mt. 27:54; Mk. 15:39; Lk. 23:47).
He took his last breath and said “it is finished/fulfilled” (Jn. 19:30) and he died. You can imagine the wonderful manifestations that occurred – the curtain of the Temple sanctuary was torn in two, from top to bottom; the earth quaked, rocks were split, tombs were opened, and several holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of their tombs… appeared to many (cf. Mt. 27:51-53).
Wao!!! You see why you can’t remain silent especially on a glorious and wonderful day like this? He is just the best an greatest, the ultimate game changer. In short by the authority in his death I provoke the power of his liberating and restorative gracious words “IT IS FINISHED” right now on every evil altar raised up against you in your life. May you experience the same manifestation evident in Mt. 27:51-53 in the victorious name of Jesus.
And may his blood be upon you and your family.
Happy Good Friday beloved. Today sing any song of thanksgiving to him.
SHEPHERD ME O LORD BEYOND MY STRENGTH.
