Read Tobit 3.
“… they cried to God for help and from their bondage their cry ascended to God. God heard their cry and remembered his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob” (Exodus 2:23-24). God said, “I have seen the humiliation of my people in Egypt and I have heard their cry…. I am aware of their suffering. I have come down to free them….” (3:7-8). “That very time, the prayer of Tobit and Sarah were heard in the glorious presence of God and he sent Raphael to heal them both….” (Tobit 3:16-17). Did you hear that?!
Friend, the time for God to change your story has come. He will send Raphael to heal you. So, you don’t need to keep silent over your situation anymore. Raise that voice of yours and let it be heard from on high.
In this most Holy Week raise your hands, your eyes, and your voice and cry to heaven as you have never done before. This might be your year you never can tell when the Lord will change your story and put a new song in your mouth (cf. Ps. 126). Follow the Lord keenly and closely on his journey to calvary like the woman with the issue of blood, you never can say he might just stop because of you to set you free.
Remember that there is no situation God cannot change for he is more than able; he is a specialist in impossible cases. Sarah’s story is an awful one, married to seven men and all died same way on the night of their marriage, even before “sleeping” with her. What a sad story. Which family on hearing this kind of story would want to risk the life of their son for such a woman? In spite of this she did not keep silent, she cried out to God for help.
Do you know that its not easy even to see one man come asking for a lady’s hand for marriage these days talk less of already having seven and all died mysteriously the same way? What an enigma and stigma. Honestly, such a person would prefer to die than to continue with this kind of horrible torture.
