Ten Things

Episode 0002: Jesus Carrying the cross 1John 1:29

The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

  1. Do you know who Jesus is and if you really do, do you show him to others so that they too may know him?
  2. Do you know that Jesus came for a mission and that you are part of that mission?
  3. Jesus’ mission was to take away sin, in order to reconcile us with God. To redeem man; win and bring man back to his creator and God
  4. Do you know that his wasn’t a self fulfilled mission?
  5. Jesus is the plan of God for our salvation
  6. Jesus came in an era when animals were slaughtered to appease God, hence He is symbolized as a Lamb – a sin offering /that, which is to be sacrificed for sin.
  7. Jesus is also symbolized as a lamb – a sign of humility – not self humility/righteousness but, the Lamb of God.
  8. What is the source of your humility/righteousness? Don’t confuse stupidity or foolishness for humility. Don’t act on self righteousness.
  9. He is symbolized as a Lamb (not a goat), a willing, a sweet and an acceptable sacrifice unto God.
  10. Do you doubt that the sin of the world has really been taken away? Read up John 1:12-13! Above all, Jesus’ mission is that of love, love of God!

Now that you know these things, what does Good Friday mean to you?
